What Happens During a Bridal Trial?

We start with a consultation to discuss your wedding style, dress, inspiration photos, skin type, hair texture, and the overall look you're envisioning.

From there, we'll create your hair and makeup and make adjustments based on your preferences. The goal isn't to copy an inspiration photo exactly, it's to create a version that complements your features, hair, skin tone, and personal style.

How Long Does a Bridal Trial Take?

A bridal hair and makeup trial can take up to 3 hours. This gives us enough time to consult, create your look, and make adjustments without feeling rushed.

When Should I Book My Bridal Trial?

We recommend scheduling your trial prior to signing your bridal contract or 2–3 months before your wedding. Booking a bridal trial prior to signing your contract will ensure you love the artist's style and look the glam looked on you. If you choose to book it closer to the wedding date, it keeps it close enough to your wedding date while still giving you time to make changes if needed.

How Should I Prepare?

Come with clean, dry hair and a clean face. Bring inspiration photos, your veil or hair accessories, and any extensions you plan to wear.

We also recommend wearing a white or light-colored top so you can better visualize how your hair and makeup will look with your wedding dress.

Is a Bridal Trial Really Necessary?

While a trial isn't required, we highly recommend it. Your wedding morning isn't the ideal time to experiment with a new look.

A trial allows both you and your artist to know exactly what works beforehand, making your wedding-day experience smoother, faster, and much more relaxed.
